Integration Central is setting up a long-term chain of support and assistance which extends from day-care centers, to elementary schools, to the multi-generation house and to the Hauptschulen in Weinheim. The objective is to improve the quality of assistance and participation of parents in the local educational institutions. In particular, the Freudenberg Foundation is supporting the programs "Griffbereit" for children 3 and younger, „Rucksack“ in kindergartens, and – together with the Hertie Foundation – „Deutsch & PC“ in connection with „Rucksack“
in elementary schools and – in cooperation with the Mercator Foundation – „Remedial Instruction“ for students in Hauptschule, where, for example, classes are taught by students from a Teaching College. In this way, so-called "islands of hope" as well as a varied and integrative educational landscape are to be created in the town.
