Together with the State Association of German Sinti and Roma in Baden-Württemberg and the Society for Anti-Ziganism Research, the Freudenberg Foundation is co-founder of RomnoKher gGmbH. The purpose of the institute, which is located in the center of Mannheim, is to act as a venue for consulting, vocational orientation and education services to young people and their families, for cultural and public relations events and to host research projects. RomnoKher also holds further training workshops for schools teaching „Argumentation Skills Against Anti-Ziganism and Anti-Semitism“ within the framework of the „Living Equality“ program of the Amadeu Antonio Foundation, which is supported by the Ford Foundation.
A permanent exhibition of pictures from such areas of life as living quarters, health, work, education, media and strong women provides insight into the current circumstances of life of Sinti and Roma in Germany.
